You can use meters, sure, but our Discipline Priest likes to justify why he never tops the healing meters with his spec. The Holy Priest that I out-healed for the entire raid with Judgement of Light came in second on the roll too... :O A couple people cried out, asking for them to assign it to the “best” healer, but I think the raid leaders were going to have a hard time figuring out who was the best, mace-wielding healer.

Yikes, seems a little capricious to me. My guild designated our best healer/the healer with the best attendance (thankfully the same person) as the person who would receive all the shards.
